The FFT research team undertakes a large array of research and monitoring tasks in the rainforest each day and covers a vast expanse of rainforest by moving across more than 20 research sites in the Tambopata/Madre de Dios area. The FFT Field Assistance Volunteer will help support all FFT teams with both their on-going research tasks as well as their often challenging logistical and administrative requirements during field operations.

Field Assistance Highlights:

• Help assist the FFT Bird Team
• Help assist the FFT Herpetofauna Team
• Help assist the FFT Mammal Team
• Assist with FFT logistics responsibilities – may include equipment, first aid kit, training, GPS games, etc.
• Assist with FFT field coordination responsibilities – team routes, team schedules, etc.
• Assist with FFT social/multi-media responsibilities – blogs, photos, FF Live News, etc.

*What the fee includes

• Accomodation for 13, 20 or 42 nights respectively
• Three substantial and healthy meals for 14, 21 or 43 days respectively
